6. Device Permissions

HabiTamer may request certain device permissions to provide full functionality:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To show timer completion notifications
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE: To keep timers running in background
• SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: For the floating timer overlay (optional)
• WAKE_LOCK: To prevent the device from sleeping while timer is active
• VIBRATE: For haptic feedback on timer events

6.2 iOS Permissions

• Notifications: To show timer completion alerts
• Background App Refresh: To update Live Activities on lock screen

All permissions are used solely for app functionality and do not result in any data being transmitted outside your device.

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Quick Launch Feature

HabiTamer's Quick Launch feature allows you to open other applications on your device. When you use this feature:

• We only store the package name/URL scheme for launching purposes
• We do not receive any data from the launched applications
• Your use of third-party apps is governed by their respective privacy policies

7.2 App Store Services

When downloading HabiTamer from app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play Store):

• The respective store may collect data according to their privacy policies
• We do not receive personal information from app store downloads
• Crash reports may be anonymized and aggregated by the platforms

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Data security depends on your device's security measures
• We recommend using device passcodes, Face ID, or fingerprint protection

• Manual Deletion: You can clear individual sessions, timers, or usage history within the app
• App Uninstallation: Deleting the app removes all associated data permanently
• Device Reset: Factory resetting your device will delete all app data

HabiTamer is suitable for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). Since we don't collect data, there's no risk of personal information from children being stored on our systems.

HabiTamer is available worldwide. Since all data remains on your device:
